Day 1 March, 2026

On arrival at the Delhi international airport you will be greeted by one of our English speaking drivers. You will be taken to your hotel and checked in for an overnight stay.

During the first day of your India trip on Holi, you will visit; Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjib, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, and Taj Ghat. You will have a rickshaw ride in the bustling bazaars at Chandi Chowk, and tour the Khari Bali spice market.

Red Fort – This monument is also known as “Lal Quila’ it represents the zenith of Mughal empire creativity, which was initiated by Shan Jahan in 1526. This architectural landmark represents fusion of Persian, Islamic, and Hindu architectural styles.

Jama Masjaid – Is the largest Mosque in India, and is famously know as Masji-I-Jahan-Numa. This Mughal architectural marvel was constructed by Emperor Shan Jahan. They began construction in 1644 and finished in 1658. It is made of red sandstone, and it offers a place of prayer for more then 25.000 people at one time.

Qutub Minar – This monument was constructed in 1193 by Qutub-Ud-Din Aikbar, and is famously known as “Victory tower”. It is a part of the Qutv complex, which lies at the site of Delhi’s oldest fortified city, Lal Kot. It is surrounded by lushish gardens, which make it a perfect spot for tourists from around the world, since it is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

Humayun’s Tomb – This mausoleum was constructed in 1570 by Mughal emperor first wife and chief consort Empress Bega Begum, and designed by Mirak Miriam Ghiyas. It is the first garden Tomb in India, which has inspired several major architectural buildings constructed later.

Chandi Chowk – It is a bustling market full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry, and vivid saris. The sparrow side streets are crowded with tiny shops selling essential oils, stationery and traditional Indian sweets.

  • Amber Fort (Amer Fort): Perched on a hill overlooking Maota Lake, this hill-top fortress was built by Raja Man Singh I in the 16th century. You can ride an elephant or take a car/jeep to access the fort, which showcases the grandeur of former rulers, including the renowned “Sheesh Mahal” or Hall of Mirrors.
  • Jal Mahal: A stunning red sandstone water palace situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.
  • Jantar Mantar: The largest and best-preserved observatory in India, built by Jai Singh II in the 18th century.
  • Hawa Mahal: Also known as the “Palace of the Winds,” this landmark features over 950 small windows on its façade, resembling a beehive. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799.
  • City Palace: A world-famous complex conceived by Sawai Jai Singh II, featuring unique courtyards, gardens, and a museum offering insights into life in Rajasthan. Don’t miss Pitam Nawas Chowk with its four magnificent gates depicting the seasons. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Relax before an evening visit to the Taj Mahal, one of the world’s top landmarks, and a marvel of architecture built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtaz. Overnight stay in Agra.
